The Spring 2021 Color Palette We Needed

From Bubblegum Pink to Tangerine, the color palette of Spring 2021 has range. The hues this spring are taking cue from the uncertainty of 2020, by giving us something fresh and a little bit of hope and stability. After months of wearing beige sweats and black coats, here’s a little something to look forward to:

Not So Mellow Yellow

PANTONE 13-0647 - Illuminating

Illuminating is optimistic, a not so mellow yellow. What better way for a mood boost, than via a bright, sunny yellow? Pair a yellow suit set with a pink tee or a white button down. Or wear a Victorian-esq long sleeve dress with mint strappy sandals. A puff sleeve shirt with white trousers is bound to be an instant classic!

Bubblegum Pink

Raspberry Sorbet is a sight for sore eyes, an instant serotonin boost if you will. I don’t know about you, but I always feel prettier in pink. Style a bright pink top with loose fit fit jeans and a tangerine bag. A pink slim suit is a power move, especially when worn with white sneakers. The most flattering thing you could wear in pink, is a bias cut skirt--especially when you wear it with kitten heels and an asymmetrical cutout shirt.

Tangerine Orange

Marigold is a warm, friendly vibe reminiscent of nostalgic summer sunsets. Wear an orange button down jumpsuit with cognac jute flatforms or a pair of wide leg orange pants with a button-down and a mint jacket. A tangerine leather tote pairs well with basically anything and the size is perfect for going out or running errands.

Green Ash is a breath of fresh air after 2020, it’s rejuvenating and cooling. Try wearing a pair of cool green trousers with a knit and hot pink wrap sandals. A printed crepe midi dress is laid back chic when paired with sneakers and a tangerine tote. Strappy mint sandals are sure to be a spring and summer staple, looking fresh with a white jumpsuit or a linen set.

Bright Lilac

Amethyst Orchid is one of the most surprising and eye catching colors of Spring 2021. Purple tones on a spectrum of bright orchid to soothing lilac are being seen everywhere currently--especially on my recent trip to New York. Adding a dose of this floral hue to any outfit for uniqueness. Consider swapping your go-to white sneakers for a lilac pair. Style a silk balloon sleeve dress with a tangerine bucket bag or wear a lilac cropped sweater with mint trousers. With purple, you can’t go wrong.
